Tanzania, Great Migration - Premier

Overview

Northern and Central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crate are three of Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife regions. As the dry season peaks, wildlife viewing is at its finest, with animals congregating around water sources and the landscape offering wide-open views for unforgettable sightings. In the Northern Serengeti, if you are lucky, you may witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebra brave the crocodile-filled Mara River. Continue south into the Central Serengeti, where predators thrive and game drives reveal an abundance of resident wildlife against a backdrop of golden savannahs and rocky outcrops. The journey culminates in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most biodiverse areas, where the high crater walls encircle a natural haven teeming with elephants, lions, hippos, and even the elusive black rhino.
